BioI've been scribbling stories and daydreaming since I was a kid. My 5th grade teacher worried that I wasn't living in the *real world*.
I've had three books published, all with various forms of magical realism, but basically adventure stories set in unusual locations. I've won the Southwest Book Award, too! My books: BREAKAWAY (Avon); ENCHANTED RUNNER (Avon); THE LAST SNAKE RUNNER (Knopf).
I'm currently working on 5 historical and contemporary novels set in: ancient Egypt, the Middle East, Paris and Louisiana.
I WAS looking for the perfect agent - and I FOUND her! I'm repped by Tracey Adams at Adams Literary Agency: wwwadamsliterary.com
My amazing agent recently closed a deal for me with Scholastic Press for THREE NOVELS!!!! That deserves a few exclamation points!!!!!! So here's some more!!!!!!
